 Dallas, Texas artist Tha Dunna started from the bottom with a mixtape trio that was named “Lightyears Away”. The first “Lightyears Away” release was in 2017 fully produced and written by himself. Along with part 2 & 3 coming shortly after, he became to make a name for himself through social media and performing at live events in the DFW area. Building a label was the most promising idea he had come up with as many people are recognizing 'Lit Life Records" from strategic brand awareness campaign that he proceeds to give his fans. 28 year old artist Tha Dunna, has become persistent and more active in his community with proof from blogs posted on the official Lit Life Records website. Lit Life Records was established in 2018 and is now Dallas’ #1 independent record label. This gives the new artists of the label a spotlight to fame from the entity. Releases like, Dreams to Ball, She Wanna Roll & Trapped Out Tha Uber gained a great enough audience to provide himself and the label with a very strong awareness for the brand. The recently released single, “Live It Up” already has gained a massive audience from the calm tunes and insightful meanings of the song. The advantages of being able to produce his own beats and mix cuts out the middle man and gives this artist an edge for undoubtedly good things in the future.
